6005T is an ultra-thin transparent PET double-sided tape: a 0.005 mm (5 μm) clear polyester film carrier coated on both sides with acrylic adhesive. At five micrometres the carrier itself is barely a film — the tape provides a controlled, uniform bonding layer where the gap between parts must stay effectively zero. It is supplied here as slit rolls from 1020 mm master rolls, cut in-house to the widths shown on this page; other widths can be cut on request, and the tape supports die-cutting and punching into gaskets, spacer rings and custom shapes. The transparent PET carrier keeps the bond line invisible and dimensionally stable, which suits thin electronic assemblies, flexible printed circuits, membrane switches, decorative trim and any application where a standard thick tape would visibly lift or misalign. It is not a gap-filling tape: the mating surfaces must be clean, dry, flat and free of release agents.
